About
Experience. Communication. Trust. Proven Results.
At The Weaver Team, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with a high level of personalized and friendly service to make the home buying and selling process in Vermont a breeze. With her numerous years in the business, Carolyn has seen almost everything and is experienced in all aspects of real estate problem solving to reach your real estate goals.
We will walk you through every step in the process, answering any questions/concerns you may have and provide our own insight backed by years of experience. Carolyn personally manages all aspects of the transaction to keep everyone on track – you will not be passed on to another associate or closing coordinator.
We run our business like a boutique agency, only taking on a small number of clients at one time to ensure the best personalized service. Doing so enables us to give each buyer and seller our full attention.
Meet the Team
Carolyn Weaver has been selling real estate in Vermont since 1996 and was named Realtor® Of The Year by the Northwest Vermont Realtor Association for 2020. She takes the time to get to know her clients and to understand their wants and needs, then uses her knowledge and insight of the local market to help find the perfect home or sell a current property. Her honest and friendly approach to real estate keeps her clients coming back!
Carolyn grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Vermont while attending UVM, where she received her B.A. and Masters in American History. She taught History and Sociology classes at CCV before her foray into real estate.
A Williston resident since 1996, Carolyn and her husband Joe live in a historic 1790s home that they remodeled. They own Red Barn Gardens, an event venue and small garden center where they grow their own vegetables and flowers.
In her spare time, Carolyn loves watching Hallmark Channel movies and home renovation shows on HGTV. She can often be found in the kitchen testing out new recipes and baking. In the winter she enjoys snowshoeing.
Jennie Walker has more than 16 years experience in marketing/public relations and uses her expertise to promote our Vermont clients' listings. As Marketing Director, she stays on top of the latest real estate marketing trends to offer our clients forward-thinking service. Jennie is also an Accredited Staging Professional® and utilizes home staging to make our clients' listings appeal to prospective home buyers.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Jennie and her husband Brett moved to Vermont in 2004 to be close to the mountains and snowboard. She worked in Public Relations for Burton Snowboards for 4+ years and then moved on to do freelance PR work for brands including Quiksilver and Poler, before finding her niche in real estate in early 2013.
Jennie recently moved back to the Pittsburgh area with her husband and their dog Goose. She loves the outdoors, is an avid hockey fan, craft beer lover, and super picky eater.
As seen on HGTV's House Hunters
Carolyn's expertise was showcased on season 242, episode 9 of HGTV’s House Hunters that takes viewers behind the scenes as individuals, couples, and families learn what to look for and decide whether or not a home is meant for them. The episode titled "Young Buyer Wants a Project in Vermont" featured our client, Abigail, an amateur wood worker who wanted to take on a project for her first home in Burlington. Her best friend Betty was worried she'd get in over her head and hoped to steer her toward something more updated. The search spanned Chittenden County, touring homes in Burlington, Colchester, and Essex. In the end, Carolyn helped Abigail purchase her first home!
