Bodhisattva of the Beach. Steely Dan’s Fagen and Becker (RIP) wrote a song in 1973 on their album Countdown To Ecstasy. Fagen said the song was “sort of a parody on the way Western people look at Eastern religion - sort of oversimplify it.” A Bodhisattva is a person that has reached enlightenment, able to leave physical existence, but chooses to remain in order to help others achieve freedom. The north shore of Newfound Lake is a place for Zen. Looking down the lake, the shoreline to the right is Paradise Point a 43-acre wildlife sanctuary. On your left, 160-acre Camp Mowglis, one of the oldest summer camps in America. Where better to clear your mind and clear your life than on clear Newfound? Let’s face it, the last several years have been stressful for everyone. It’s time to simplify and focus on what really matters. Let us take you by the hand to a place where you can relax and be free. Discover a worry-free quality-built home, on a sandy private beachfront lot, in the ultra-low tax town of Hebron. Smart home automation: garage doors, security system, thermostats, mini-split, and main water system. Time to do what the line in the song says, “I’m gonna sell my house in town. And I’ll be there.”
